Last night was fun, though.
I came home to
pierceheart in the middle of stir-frying chicken with tofu and asparagus. I helped him out with the sauce, and we ended up with a very yummy dinner. I also ended up with yummy leftovers, which will be lunch today!
Shortly after dinner, I surprised him with a pendant designed by Paul Borda. It's the Celtic-style raven design from the back of the Morrigan's cloak on the statue I gave him almost a year ago. He liked. :)
Then to Diesel. We each had a decaf eight-ball. OMFG, they were good. For those who don't know, an eight-ball is a large hot coffee with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream (good vanilla ice cream) dropped into it. Melty sweet creamy goodness. Pagan discussion group began. At first it was just me, the boy, C (who had laryngitis, poor girl), and a dude I remembered from last time. Then
skexy and F showed up, as did
dolphindream and others. There was good discussion and fluffy discussion, and there was much silliness and punning. F kept mishearing other people's words as something sexually related. He said it was because he kept getting distracted by shiny things and cute chicks. Of course,
pierceheart wasn't much better!
Quote of the night (or one of them): "Where do sex toys fit into your religion?"
There was also a lot about monkeys. And Andre the Giant (aka Clueless Fanboy). We ruined F's warm memories of Fezzik forever.
Then I saw a bunch of curly pink (fuchsia) hair going by me, and I said to
pierceheart, "Hey, is that
wench33? It was. We called her over and she gave the boy a ginormous hug. I got a slightly less ginormous one, but then I'm not as cute as he is, and I hadn't been in Iraq for a year. :P Other folks who I have met but don't know well also showed up for Goffee, and the two groups sort of meshed and blended into this black-clad pentagram-wearing amalagam. But then it was getting late and I had to go home.
Tonight is PNO, where I believe I will be seeing many of the same people again. Sweet. Looking forward to it. 7.5 more hours, and I'm outta here!
