Things an' stuff an' suchlike
May. 18th, 2005 01:04 pmFirst, for all Harry Potter fans:

(Thanks, F!)
Second, life.
Yesterday was kinda crappy until I got home from work. Then it rapidly improved, and all was well. Dinner was tortilla chips and dip. REAL healthy. Wait, one of the dips had spinach. Spinach is good! Of course, the previous night's dinner WAS healthy. I had seafood shabu-shabu, aka "Cthulhu in a hot tub". (If you haven't had it, shabu-shabu is a Japanese style of cooking where you drop bits of raw veg, meat, and/or seafood into an individual pot of boiling broth to cook it, then remove it, dip it in soy and spices, and eat. Nummy. Cthulhu in a hot tub was what it looked like when I dropped in the bit of the squid that had all the tentacles. Mmmm.
Last night when
pierceheart came home, he brought with him a grill, brewing equipment, and BOOZE! AND two kilts! No, a certain person did not steal them (as opposed to another article of his clothing).
Today I have my monthly Lodge Night Stitch-n-Bitch with
dee_cee. Fun! Four and a half hours until I get out of here? Gah.

Oh well. Yes, kilts, one in a white pastic bag, the other, I don't remember where . . .
May be that the good kilt got packed by someone else and they left it for you all to simply throw in to storage.
Booze!!!
I still don't remember buying the 18 yo Glenlivet. But I'll drink it!
