Ah, Friday!

So very, very glad.

The lead admin, the assistant to the President, was out yesterday and today. That always adds stress to my job. I hate having to deal directly with the President instead of going through her. He's...ugh. He can be a bastard, even if he does buy us pizza once in a blue moon. I'm not keen on walking on eggshells.

Anyway, at least I'll be able to relax tonight. pierceheart and I are going out with geoogo and cutieyum for food and beery goodness. Mmm. Beer. And yay, double date with friends I haven't seen in way too long!

Speaking of beer, last night pierceheart and I went to that beer seminar at Downtown. We learned a bit on the history and making of lambics, and got to taste about 10 of them. Oh boy, the lambicky goodness!

I bought a lovely bottle of Kriek de Ranke, which I am thinking will be very nice in the summertime. Cherry-y, tart, musty...yum.

I think Kriek is my favorite of the fruit lambics, though of course the others are great, too. Mmmm.
