My friend L, responding to someone's derision of reality TV: Well BAD NEWS! We also decided we need our own reality TV show. We just need a HOOK.

Me, the silly: Oooh, a hook! And a wooden leg and an eyepatch! Set it on a pirate ship, and have the captain of the pirates kill the losing contestant every week, until only one is left, and that one gets the buried treasure...if he/she can find it. You can call it "Walking the Plank"!

I normally can't stand reality shows. I've never seen a single episode of "American Idol" and I'm ridiculously proud of this fact.

I do like "What Not to Wear" - Clinton and Stacey crack me up!
