These bastards lose no matter what *we* do. They have adopted a losing position, embracing a losing philosophy, and act entirely from a losing place. Loss is all they know, all they create, all they have.

I agree. I have a friend whose birthday is today. He said something about, "yeah, great, happy birthday to me." I told him to take this as a reminder to count all his blessings, and to enjoy every one of them to the fullest today.

Well, you pose an interesting question . . .

Why was London attacked?
Because it could be.
Because they supported us in the war (see Madrid 04). "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and success of liberty."
I would like to think Tony Blair thinks these things, also.

Because those bastards who kill in the name of Al'lah (the most merciful and compassionate), claiming to have been told to do so in the writings of Muhammad (praise be upon him), cannot win in a one on one fight.

They cannot fight us as a military power against a military power.
They can only use these tactics.

Until we catch every one of them, and prevent them from ever doing this again, and put SOME safeguards in place to lessen the likelihood of it, we cannot rest.

We cannot give up those freedoms which the terrorists hate us for.
We cannot become the state (form) they wish we would be.

And, until we CAN rest, you know where I will be, what I will do.
