1. Pick fifteen of your favorite movies and choose one still from each movie. (ok, I cut this down to ten) 2. Post those stills in your journal. 3. Try to guess mine.
3) American Beauty 4) The Piano 5) one of the LOTR films. 6) Monty Python, Holy Grail. 7) I know I've seen it... can't place it. 8) The Princess Bride. 10 Again, I've seen it but can't remember the title without cheating and going to imdb.
And I know I heard about a film in which Bjork plays a single mother or somesuch, which looks like no 2(? damn LJ stealing my pictures), but I don't recall the name.
1. Wings of Desire 3. American Beauty 4. The Piano (with a beautiful shot of Holly Hunter on her hands and knees . . .) 5. LotR:RotK 6. Monty Pyhton Quest for the Holy Grail 7. Wicker Man 8. Princess Bride 10. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
1. "Rosebud..." (I can't think of the name of the film!) 2. --- 3. American Beauty 4. Little Women? 5. LOTR 6. Holy Grail 7. Wicker Man 8 Princess Bride ("Have fun storming the castle, boys!) 9. --- 10. O Brother! Where Art Thou
1. looks familiar, but i can't remember 2. Dancer in the Dark(?) 3. American Beauty (one of the best movies ever) 4. The Piano 5. LOTR - one of them 6. Monty Python - Holy Grail 7. Wicker Man 8. Princess Bride 9. Dead Man 10. Oh Brother
I liked Dead Man, although it's not my favorite Depp film. I haven't seen many (if any) other Jim Jarmusch movies, but I hear that's his style...kinda odd. Other than that, I only recognised 3,4,5,7,which are all among my favorites, too.

Date: 2005-08-17 03:35 pm (UTC)9 *is* a Depp flick, but one of the more obscure ones.
7 is definitely not the Man from UNCLE. I've never seen that one.
