badseed1980Ok, so a week and a half ago I got the "Watch your ass because you're close to getting fired" letter. Today, my boss called me into the office. I was scared. Then he told me he noticed I was doing a good job this week and was happy. He said, "I don't know if it's because you're afraid you're going to get fired, but it's just the result that's important to me. But if it IS because you're afraid you're going to get fired, just don't start thinking that this means you're off the hook, because I'll be paying attention on Monday." WTF, dude? Then he goes and orders me a new thermos as a "thanks for doing a good job" present because he'd been asking about my thermos, and I said it was kind of falling apart and isn't well insulated. Again, WTF???
This guy is like...he's like the good cop and the bad cop all rolled into one, and I so do not know how to handle it.
