I actually got a lot of sleep last night, and though I was still coughing and sneezing when I woke up, I felt ready to face the day at work. I went in, and got started with my morning routine there. Then the boss-man (a former ER doctor) came out of his office while I was talking to a co-worker. He said, "You still sound sick, and you look like you're sick. Why don't you go home and take another day off to recover? That would probably be better all around, since we just lost J and L is out visiting his family after his mother passed away. We can't afford everyone getting sick." So hey, I left work, went to Windsor Button to pick up some yarn for my father's Christmas scarf, and got on the T to come home.

I got some stuff to make miso soup (yum), and some fat free, sugar free pudding. I am going to spend the day much as I did yesterday.

Oh, and <lj user="fangirl715", I also got some milk. It's the kind that's skim, but with some of the water removed and stuff so it tastes like 2%. I figured we could give it a try. Now to pull out the knitting pattern for the scarf and go to it.
