Some random haikus
Feb. 13th, 2006 02:41 pmYour skin is sweet honey:
Warm, alive, lit from within.
You taste of summer.
***
Silk brushes my skin.
I dance, and pause to find your gaze
Brushing me like silk.
***
Against snow-strewn grey,
Black branches give shape to space
Winter made formless.
Warm, alive, lit from within.
You taste of summer.

Silk brushes my skin.
I dance, and pause to find your gaze
Brushing me like silk.
***
Against snow-strewn grey,
Black branches give shape to space
Winter made formless.

I think I do OK with the free form stuff I write, but the forms really can add to the effect. I would love to learn to write sonnets.
Ah, well. When money's better...
