Good morning!
Feb. 24th, 2006 09:09 amLet me start by doing the "It's My Last Day!" Dance of Joy.
*dances*
W00t!
So I'm thinking Sunset Grille tonight can start at 7:30pm, to give everyone time to get home, change, dump their stuff, etc. before heading out to Allston. Sound good? I'm looking forward to good beer and good peoples.
Last night was extremely fun. I headed out to the Athenian Corner, a Greek joint in Lowell, to watch some of my more advanced classmates dance with a live band. I bummed a ride from
nepenthe, as did our classmate C, and the three of us listened to belly dance music on the ride up. The show was great: the girls performed very well. I love looking at their individual styles and noting all the differences. The band was quite good, too. I think I *just might* give performing there a shot in May. *meep*
I managed to get myself out the door on time--with coffee in my tummy AND in my thermos--despite the absence of the coffee-making and car-driving boy. Go me! I guess it helped that making breakfast consisted of microwaving some fat-free blueberry muffins. Quick. :)
Oh, and last night, I tried Mavrodaphne for the first time and thought, "Aha! That's what I've been looking for!" I'm sure some of you will be entirely unsurprised.
