Calling all beer snobs!

My father, the man who introduced me to good beer and good scotch, has just had a birthday. I'm seeing him this weekend, and have decided that tonight, I'm going to the liquor store in Davis Square and getting him a bunch of really cool eclectic beers for a present. I'm thinking of Three Stooges beer (he loves them) and a heathered ale. I don't know what else yet. I would love some recommendations on very unusual beers. Davis has an EXCELLENT selection, the best I've seen for beer in a liquor store. I mean, they carry Holy Grail Ale! So, who's got some ideas for me?

The belgian stuff. I think it's chimay. A bottle of each should be good. Corsendonk is great as is any gueuze.
