Last night's beer tasting was fun. At first, unferth and I were the only ones there, but a few other people joined in over time. The Scottish ales were yummy (with the exception of one or two that tasted like malt-flavoured candy), and the beer geekery was fun.

After that I spent way too long online talking to quepid and ringer (who later disappeared. It was quepid's food-porn posts that started it. How many people have MORELS growing wild in their frickin' yard? Lucky bastard.

Went to sleep too late and woke up too early with Lucy crawling all over me. Oy. For some reason, I wake up a lot easier from that now that daylight savings time has started. It drives me nuts.
And now to call my PSG rep and try again to tell her that I won't be here Friday (since I'll need to recover from Seder with frommy and friends.) Oy.

Okay, I was almost ready to literally pitch Fiona out of my bedroom this morning when she kept on snuggling up too tightly (either between my legs, on top of my legs, under the covers and pressed up against me, etc.), all the while purring like a Ferrari. At 3:45 am. Oy indeed.

Yeah, the other day Lucy was digging at the covers with which I was covering my face in a desperate attempt to block out the light. She was like, "C'mon, Mom! Where ARE you? I know you're in there! Get up, it's MORNING!"

The now-early-morning light isn't a problem for me normally, since it's still dark when I arrive at work (groan...). But, yeah - small, hyperactive furball going bonkers before the alarm goes off? Not a good thing.

I'm sorry I disappeared! I'm pretty sure I thought I was waiting for a response from you, but either way I got distracted (probably by the motorcycle, judging by the rest of the week). Can I make it up to you? ;-)
