Just got out of the shower. Is there anything better than a nice hot shower with lots of tingly peppermint soap? Well, okay, duh, but not a lot. :)
Dinner tonight was indeed yummy. I highly recommend Namaskar in Davis Square. Sadly, they don't have a liquor license yet, but they make great mattar paneer. Maybe needs to be a bit hotter, though.
So Noah turns out to be a pretty cool guy. We got along quite well, and had a good time. No sparks though. At least not on this side. I doubt anything will come of it in that way, but it's always great to make a new friend.
We stopped at the liquor store and got my dad his beer. Gueuze, Fraoch, gooseberry ale, JW Lees Harvest Ale from 1999, Nightmare, and something called Scotch Silly, a Belgian-brewed scotch-style ale that had a great name. The guy in the store (who KNOWS his beer) said that the gooseberry and the Fraoch should be drunk FLAT. Yeah, that's right. Weird, huh? Apparently, they carbonate it only because it helps preserve it and helps it travel. But to really taste the herbs and fruits added to it, you should drink it flat. Hmm. Should try that.
So I'm feeling much betterthan I was last night and this morning. Well, lots of e-mails helped that. Sometimes you have to hash things out and be a drama queen before they start getting better. :) But it's late, so time to go to bed. Mmm. Bed. I want to dream about beer and sunshine and sex in fields and starry night skies and exotic birds that leave their feathers behind and plums that grow like jewels on strange trees and...

Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap!
Fun and tingly in all the pink parts in accordance to His highest law!
Exceptions? NONE!

...Do you have any idea what I'm talking about? Or is it not Doc Bronner's? Bizarre packaging, truly...

Yes, it is Dr. Bronner's. :) I know EXACTLY what you mean. Man, that guy must have been such a proto-hippie. Couldn't have been a dirty hippie, though. Not with all that lovely tingly soap. :)

And I want to thank you

for reintroducing me to the wonders of bronners. That stuff makes me feel CLEAN with a capital SQUEEK!

It's also one of the few soaps that gives me a good face washing without drying me out, which is a problem with the intermittant rosacea, and problem T-zone.

It invigorates and revives!

It's great as a shaving cream with a good brush, and it CAN be used (diluted) for mouthwash.
