Waxing doesn't work on my. The two times I tried to have it done in a salon, they didn't make me pay because the roots of my hair are too long, and the hair is too coarse.

Electrolysis is extremely expensive and HURTS. Same for laser.

Someone told me laser hair removal feels like having a rubber band snapped against your skin. Hmm. That can actually be nice...

I would like to try waxing one day. Legs and bikini. I'm sure it would hurt, but I tend to have pretty fine hair.

Well, laser is more than a "rubber band snap" feel if you have coarse hair, because it takes more heat to burn the follicle, so it has to stay in position longer. I suppose that's why I didn't go back.
With fine hair, I think it would be much easier.

My sister is so weird about hair removal. When I saw her at Thanksgiving, she had almost no eyebrows. She plucks them compulsively. Ick.

re: waxing - i LOVE it. when i can manage to get it done. sure, it's painful, but it's purty. pain for beauty, good swap.
