Having lived with a few bunnies in my childhood, I'll tell you they grow up to be rabbits with smelly cages. They poop constantly and they aren't very social pets.
But damn, they are cute when they are bunnies. This explains why my siblings had about a dozen when we were growing up. When one died, it was replaced with a smaller, cuter one. Mostly because we already had the cage.
