I'm such a twit.
Jun. 5th, 2006 09:29 amEven after my teacher sent out an e-mail reminder last week, and even after I reminded myself on Saturday, I forgot about dance class starting up today. Gah! And what has this taught us, Laura? "Always, as soon as you think of it, write this crap down on the white board in your room! You will not remember it otherwise!" That's right.
Fortunately, I have the best boy in the world, who will bring my dance stuff up to me on his way to Lodge. :)
Alas, this DOES mean that I will be missing the Downtown beer tasting I was looking forward to more than any other so far: the hops-focused tasting. WAAAH! Want hoppy hoppy beer!
I may have to console myself with a trip to Cambridge Brewing Company in the not-too-distant future (seeing as I work fairly close to it), to get me some of that amazing Red God IPA. But...what's this I see on their web page? It's not listed? Not even with the Seasonals? Nooooooooooo! I think I may cry. I cannot be deprived of your heavenly hoppiness so soon after being initiated into your bitter, aromatic mysteries, o God among Beers! *sob*
Must brew. Must brew soon. Must brew this summer, at least once. I wonder if I can get my hands on some Amarillo and Tomahawk hops.
This was a good weekend. Saturday was a housewarming party for two of my best friends, which was a blast! There was much good food (mmm, fiddleheads!), and a lot of cool people showed up. It's only too bad the weather wasn't pool-appropriate. Sunday, I walked a lot. In the rain. Well, drizzle. I started out heading towards the grocery store, but made a big wide loop outwards and came back again. After I got my groceries home, I sat and knit for about half and hour or so, had some tea, and then took a walk out to Harvard Square and back again. It felt good to get out and walk. Maybe I should look into finding some cheap sneakers and bringing them with me to work, so that once in a while I can get off the T at Harvard or something and walk home from there. It's good exercise after sitting around all day, even if it DIDN'T help the weird tightness in my left calf muscle like I thought it would. Boy, that's going to be fun when I dance tonight. o_O

I think if you called Modern Homebrew Emporium, and asked for a special order, he could do it.
