Look at my LJ interests, and my user pics. Pick one (or one of each, if you like) that you find confusing or intriguing, and comment here. I’ll explain what it means and what makes it significant to me.

Then, if you want, please post this in your own LJ, if you’d be so kind, so that I can learn about your interests, too.

I'm plumping for the interest "blue star wicca", which I've never heard of before, and the Puss in Boots userpic - I'd love to know what motivates you to use it :)

Ok!

1. For more info on that, check out this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Star_Wicca. What they DON'T tell you, is that the tradition tends to attract amazing cooks! I got started with Blue Star through meeting some people who were involved in it, and when I decided I'd reached a point in my spiritual path where I wanted to seek out traditional training, that's where I went.

2. Puss in Boots is just the essence of cuteness. I loved both Shrek movies (though I think the first one was better). Puss is amusing because he's so full of himself, yet entirely cute and fuzzy. Those big sad eyes are great for giving people sympathetic looks when they need them, too. :)

Yeah. Used to be said you had to audition to join B*, but nowadays you're more likely to be asked to cater a dinner {grin}

First, perl is a computer language, and purling is something you do in knitting. :P Just a little...pearl of wisdom!

I knit English style (not Continental. The way I purl is to first make sure the yarn is in front of my right hand needle, then insert the tip of my right needle through the stitch, from back to front (moving the point of the needle towards you), wrap the yarn counterclockwise around my right hand needle, and pull that loop that it makes back out through the stitch, then push the old stitch off the left hand needle. There's a video on this (http://knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/purl.php) website, to show the way I do it.

1. Makes for cool literature. 1984. A Clockwork Orange. I took a class in Apocalyptic and Dystopian Literature in college. :)

2. Aw, thanks! He was test-driving a digital SLR camera, and since I was over at their place for dinner and [livejournal.com profile] tigira was busy, he asked if he could test it out by taking some shots of me. A friend had left the mask in their keeping when she moved, and we decided to add that in for fun. :)

What is the significance of wicker man? I know that was the old movie they used to play on the tv screens at Manray.

Yeah! I just love the flick. It's got all this fabulously campy Pagan horror stuff in it, and I adore Christopher Lee. The man is a god. He has so much presence. Basically, if you're a Pagan with a sense of humour, you're likely to appreciate The Wicker Man. The music is good, too: pseudo-old folk song type stuff.

LOL!

Someone HAD to pick that.

Ok, I believe that the people who have the best sex are the people who know their bodies best, and know what they want. The best way to discover that is by doing it yourself first. :)
