On the floor above me, right above my office, they're doing construction. This involves lots and lots of unbelievably loud buzzing, loud enough to make my desk vibrate, with periods of only a few seconds of quiet to interrupt it. This is making me CRAZY. My head hurts. This is going on EVERY DAY, but it seems to be getting worse and worse. OY.

Oh yeah it's bothersome to everyone. But there's HUGE amounts of construction going on here. Remember how I told you they're putting up an entire new building inside the courtyard formed by other buildings? I don't think they can really do much about it.

Fortunately it seems to have stopped for the time being, thank the gods.

oh, right, the infill project.

it should routinely not be noisy after 3pm, when construction workers generally are done for the day.
