pierceheart and I could transport stuff from here to there to feed us for the entire time. I'm sort of glad that we can't go to the Maryland RenFaire afterwards: that would just be too much spending temptation. At Stones, I basically know what's going to be there, vendor-wise, and know that I'm unlikely to spend a heck of a lot of money on stuff. I think I'm going to have to take the Monday after Stones off. Otherwise, we'd be getting home late in the evening on Sunday, and I'd have to get up early and go to work the next day. Nope. Can't see doing that, especially since I'll almost certainly be short on sleep and I'll need to unpack. I'm so excited about going. I'm a little sad, because things are going to be very different this year: some people gone, some things changed. But hey, it's STONES. And there will be a lot of wonderful friends who I haven't seen in ages. Yay! Skinny-dipping! Coffee Dragons! Bottom-Dweller parties! Men in kilts! Sarongs! Nothing! Outdoor communal showers! Starvin' Artist Cafe! Big honkin' rocks to tow! Oh yeah, I'm psyched. bittercat, have you decided yet if you'll be coming this year? It was great seeing you last year, and it would be excellent to see you again!
Hmm...I must plan on bringing a decent-sized knitting project to work on while I sit at the Dragons chatting with people.
And now to do some writing.
I need a Stones icon. I'll have to take actual pictures this year. Well, I already promisedelissa_carey that I would, so that's a given.
