Got these from my boy today! The African violets on the right side are actually potted, so I can keep those and bring them to my new office with me, since they like fluorescent light, apparently. :)

OOOOH!!!! i like these alot. steve only ever sent me roses, and i know i sound ungrateful, but after a time, they became uninteresting.

I get roses on V-Day and often with other stuff on my birthday, but other times I get other pretty flowers. :D

THat is so awesome!! African Violets can last a long time. They are picky, keep them in the light, rotate them frequently, never allow water to touch their leaves or stems to avoid rot, water them carefully or keep their plate full of water, replant them in a container with a minimum of 5" in diameter with miracle grow or other good soil.

They'll flower for a long long time, mine has lived 6 happy beautiful years.
