I didn't realize before how easy it is now to put images that are stored on my computer into my journal entries! So, for all of you who haven't yet met her, here is a blurry-but-cute picture of my Lucy, from my cell phone.

Oh, so the story is that I won't technically be starting permanent employment here until 9/5, the Tuesday after Labor Day. Bah. Since my current boss wants to keep me on until the end of the month, she has to do so under the temp contract. :( Sad! I wanted the good pay! Oh well, I'll be getting it soon. :D

How'd you do that? Whenever I want to post pics, a link brings one to the server that has the pics, but you have to then click on the pics one by one to see them. It's most annoying!

If the file is saved on your computer, since you have a paid account, you can just click that little "insert" menu above the entry box on the Update page (and click "insert image", your only choice. Choose "insert image from file". Browse for the file on your computer. Click "insert". LJ will automatically upload the image to your Scrapbook, and put the link code in your entry that will display the image.
