Or at least, the shredding will not be done by yours truly. No, all I will have to do, should I need something shredded, is put it in a box marked "TO BE SHREDDED," and someone else will do it. Goddamn, it's great to have a more specific job role. This may sound like a small victory, but considering that this week I've already shredded 6 garbage bags' worth of paper (each about...5 gallons?). Four Monday and two today.
So yeah, no more shredding for Laura.
In other news: I must e-mail my parents and tell them
pierceheart and I will indeed be spending the weekend (or most of it) with them. I think I might have to...bring a new knitting project!
Must decide what to do for dinner tonight (since there won't be much time). Tomorrow night I am cooking (NOT pad thai, fwiw) at
cloakedrose's place. Should I bring my spiffy santoku? Or will some freak terror alert thing happen so that I end up getting arrested? I think I'm safe. :) I just need to decide if it's worth the hassle. Man, I SO love my knife set. It's one of my most prized possessions. My father ROCKS for getting me those!
I may make soup Monday. Must think about this.
