It's Friday, people!

That's what some DJ on a Providence radio station always says.

Good stuff this Friday:

1. pierceheart says his interview seemed to go very well. YAY! Everybody keep your fingers crossed for him! He is AWESOME, and should definitely be hired! And not just because I'm hopelessly in love with him, either.

2. Made a very successful dinner last night. You know your cooking is appreciated when you're finishing up the last few bites on your plate and, while you're still eating, still actually taking bites and chewing them, the person who you cooked for asks, "Are you going to eat that?" Ooookay. Good thing there are lots of leftovers. :)

3. My current boss is treating me and at least one other girl to lunch today, to celebrate her last day here at MIT. So nice! This means I'll have to run the frozen lunch I brought today over to my new building and stick it in the freezer there, where it can wait for me until Tuesday. I will also bring my loverly African violet.

4. Almost forgot this one! My unclaimed property from the state of Rhode Island came in today! $68, baby! Yay!

I am so tired this morning. I didn't get to bed until after midnight last night, and woke up very reluctantly. Ook. Thank the gods for coffee.
