Hey, LJ is up! W00t!

Looks like this is going to be a quiet evening for me. Eh, that's fine. Did a lot of walking today. The shuttle bus from Kendall to Park was driving me crazy, so I got off at MGH and walked from there to Winmill Fabrics in Chinatown. Walked around Somerville a lot too. Is it just me, or does this world seem to have a prejudice against the colour grey? I was looking for grey fabric at Winmill and grey candles at several places. I found some fabric that I am now afraid might be more green than grey, but was the only grey fabric that wasn't silk, velvet, or suit material. I found NO grey candles. Sheesh.

Earlier in the day I was all ramped up to cook myself a nice dinner tonight. But when I got back from shopping, I was tired and didn't feel like putting together a meal, so I ordered a veggie pizza. I miss Urban Gourmet. Davis Square Pizza just isn't anywhere near as good. I had to put SALT on it because the sauce was so flavourless, and the crust is weird. Eh. But at least there were a lot of nice fresh veggies on it and they weren't overcooked.

So...tonight is knitting and knitting blog creation time. Then bed at a reasonable hour. :)

Thanks. :) I was hoping not to have to resort to buying them online, since shipping wouldn't be worth it. I'll try a couple other places before I do that, but thanks for the link!

I'm still curious as to exactly what happened to Urban Gourmet. I walked by I presume the day after and it looked all bombed out, but I never heard about the fire or anything. I hope they're going to rebuild it, especially as I just went to the troub;le of moving around the block from there.

I think it has more to do with the fact that you went looking for grey fabric on four days after Halloween.

What, you think there was a big rush on it or something? Seems dubious to me. Most people are hunting for black and orange.
