Five positives for today:

1. I voted! It's good to make a difference. And I still got to work on time.

2. It's a cool crisp morning and it feels like November. YES, that's a positive.

3. Plenty of sleep last night. I fell asleep before 10, and slept quite soundly all night.

4. I think I have hit upon something I'm needing in my life, and which should not be hard to get. This is good.

5. MIT gives us the day after Thanksgiving off as a holiday, so I don't need to take a vacation day to get a long holiday weekend!


I have dance tonight. I'm looking forward to it. I'm NOT looking forward to writing another check. Oy. But I told my mom that I'd rather have money for Christmas than anything else, so that will go a ways towards helping me build up my savings again. Yay! I wish dance lessons weren't so pricey.

Tomorrow night I'll be staying at pierceheart's place. I'm glad we figured out the bus schedules and stop locations so that's doable now. :)

Yeah, this is a great practice. If I'm feeling really blue, I try to squeeze out ten. ("Okay, you scurvy worm, drop down and gimme ten!") Usually works like a charm. Thanks for reminding me what a great habit it is!

Yeah, her prices are a major reason I've never started classes with AJ, despite having several dancers I know tell me she's good at helping with performance issues, and finding your strengths, as well as the right balance of constructive criticism and encouragement.

She's about $8 more expensive per class than most of the other teachers I've danced with. Yeek. That binder of dance terms and stuff she wants newbies to buy sounds helpful, though.

Yeah, it's pricey, but I can't imagine going anywhere else on a regular basis. :) She's cool about payment and make-up classes and stuff too. Like, if I can't make it on a Tuesday, I can come to the Monday class, and she's fine if I have to spread out the payment.
