Wow, the weather today is really rotten. Gloomy, rainy, blah. But I'm happy enough with it: I'm feeling kind of domestic-ish today anyway. I spent most of last night and this morning knitting, and I've got cooking to do this evening. I suppose cleaning should come into play at some point, too.

I had a great date with pierceheart Friday night. We went to a pinning ceremony for his cadets, then out to dinner at Sanctuary. The food was, as always, excellent. Then we went back to his place to watch The Chronicles of Riddick, which actually has a pretty cool score and is an entertaining movie. We spent most of yesterday together too, going to the dedication of a veterans' memorial at Northeastern. I have some very nice pictures of my man in his Class A's. Yep, he's drool-worthy, alright. He left at about 3ish for another date, and I spent the evening knitting.

So, here are five positives:

1. The smell of roasted garlic filling my house. Yum.
2. *plot plot snicker grin YAY!* (this one's a secret)
3. I have a nice menu planned for tonight. I love cooking for other people, especially for men who appreciate good food.
4. Mercury will go direct again on 11/18. Will that help? Maybe. It'll be good in general, at least. I hadn't even realized it was retrograde still, but looking back, I'm hardly surprised.
5. Sweet, adorable, cuddly, purring kitty curled up on my bed. That always makes life a little better.

Have you seem Pitch Black, the earlier one in the series to Chronicles of Riddick? Both are good, I think the first one has more story but the second one is more polished and shiny.

Yeah, we watched that one first (Wednesday night). I liked them both.
