Five positives:

1. We're getting out at 3 on Wednesday. Excellent! That makes my life easier.

2. Friday evening with dahveed76 and pierceheart was wonderful, fun, and good for communication. Dinner rocked too.

3. I have a shrimp salad sandwich for lunch today. I didn't get time to go grocery shopping, but leftovers provided me with a decent meal.

4. Three day week! No vacation days! I like MIT!

5. One more hour working, and then I go outside for a walk for the first time in ages.

no one tells us over here if we'll get out early until about an hour before it happens.

Aw. We usually have one of the managers come around either on the day itself or the day before, and whisper to everyone that we're getting out early. It's funny...everyone in the office knows it's happening and the head of the office is completely fine with it, but we still talk about it in whispers to preserve the fiction that the office boss has not said it's ok for the entire office to leave early, so HE doesn't get in trouble. :)
