First off, I must start with this:

It's grey and rainy out there today, and it's Monday. I'm in a good mood, though. I slept pretty badly last night, waking up several times due to being either too warm or in an uncomfortable position. Meh. Next time I remember to turn the heat down before going to bed. I also forgot that

pierceheart was getting up early again, and thought the alarm that went off at 5am was mine, not his. It was hard to sleep again after that, and I'm not sure I did.

But I wore my new Uggs today, giving them a rain test-drive. They're cozy and dry. And I started with a weight-loss group in my office. I'm not doing the competition they have going, but I'm going to lose some damn weight. Doing well today so far, though tonight and tomorrow night I'm going out for dinner and indulging a bit (anniversary with

dahveed76, then my birthday dinner with

pierceheart.) I'm looking forward to both of those dates very much!
