badseed1980Whew...it was a mad weekend. Arisia was fun but hectic. I was VERY disappointed by the crappiness of the hotel, but managed to have a good time anyway. I got to see ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fabricdragon for the first time in a year, and also was able to hang out with a bunch of good friends who I do see more often. I bought a couple used books, some gorgeous lapis beads (which I need to string), some purple silk yarn (fingertip-free gloves for work, yay!) and...a new corset! I got an amazing deal from Brute Force/Fallen Angel because they were selling at last year's prices for the convention, they gave me a discount for paying in cash, and they gave me ANOTHER discount for handing in my old corset from them so they can reuse the boning. So now I have a brand-new, better-fitting corset. It's fab. I should take and post pictures. Oh, and he threw in a "Mine's Tighter" tee-shirt for free. :D
Let's see...other Arisia notes...much thanks towench33 for feeding us Saturday night! And to leenah for letting us use her room to eat dinner on Friday night. And to dee_cee for some cool panels.
It was nice not having to work yesterday. Last year, I stayed overnight on Sunday at Arisia and had to go to work on Monday. That sucked. Yesterday I got to take care of some non-work work that needed doing AND go grocery shopping properly, instead. Tonight dance class starts back up again. I'm looking forward to it.

corsets seem to do that, obviously i need to get back into mine.
make sure you post pictures of the finished project, i love seeing what my yarn turns into.
(and i will be ordering more silk)
