Give them a boot to the head!
Feb. 6th, 2007 09:22 amI've had the Boot to the Head song stuck in my head all morning. I blame
pierceheart. I was afraid I might start singing it under my breath at work and get weird looks from my coworkers. Anyway, the new girl to the office who sits behind me (I knew her when I was in my temp position in another building) comes in to work and starts singing under her breath while she takes off her coat. It's the Fish Heads song. Bwahaha! I confessed I had the BttH song in my head, and she ends up being a huge Dr. Demento fan.
Oh dear.
I can see this seating arrangement might be conducive to causing trouble...

Date: 2007-02-06 03:44 pm (UTC)Uh-oh. That happened to me at a McJob over a decade ago. Two over-educate, under-employed late-20/early-30-somethings, seated next to each other at a phone center customer service department. She had connections at every cool bar/restaurant/nightspot in the city. We not only got invited to the coolest stuff and usually got in for free, but entertained everyone at our crappy jobs with tales of our adventures. We're still friends to this day. Some of our adventures remain classified to this day.
A kindred spirit at work...be afraid. Be very afraid. :-)
