we had to nurse a few orphaned kittens..... "shlemiel, shlemozzle, hossenfeffer, and Mitzva" there was a fifth but it dint live long enough to be named.
eventually it was just shlemiel (the littlest) hossenfeffer, and mitzvah (mitzvah pig. who ate a lot, and whose ears pumped back and forth as he sucked on a bottle...)
.... and then they caught pneumonia, which is the bane of all orphaned kittens... and we lost all but Shlemiel.

shlemiel is now 9? and a long sleek elegant cat he is too...
