badseed1980 | Brief update

1. Attended a wake and funeral for Cpt. Jennifer Harris on Sunday and Monday, respectively. Fortunately, the Westboro Wackjobs never showed up at the funeral. Guess the cold kept them away. It was damned cold. I finally defrosted while cooking dinner last night. Saw JG and LAG, which was nice.

2. Due to e-mail issues and subsequent misunderstandings and lacking information, my big date with

dahveed76 scheduled for last night was cancelled and turned into a big date with

pierceheart, who kindly and graciously made time for me when he really didn't have to do so, so that I wouldn't suddenly find myself either stuck alone eating a fabulous dinner with no one to show it off to, or starting a date at 9pm or so and trying to get to bed two hours later. Plans will be made with

dahveed76 for sometime this weekend. Hey, the dinner was pretty darn good even if it didn't go exactly as planned.

3. It is Mardi Gras. I am wearing beads at work. Why not? They cheer me up. Somehow I am feeling kinda moody, and need an excuse to snap out of it.

And five positives:

1. I have Mardi Gras beads. :)

2. I remembered to order my prescription on time so I won't find myself without a refill when I need one. This has been a problem for me lately.

3. Looks like I have less morning-work than usual. This is nice. I finished it all already, and can start on the stuff I usually don't get to start until 12:30 or so.

4. Making progress on my knitting. Yay!

5. I'm not sick. I haven't (yet?) caught what

meadmaker and

tigira and F had. This is good. I don't want it!
