Oooh, purty.
Mar. 15th, 2007 04:51 pmSo I really, really, really want to see an exhibit of Dale Chihuly's stuff someday. His sculptures look like they're alive, like they want to move. The colours are breathtaking. I've loved this guy's work since I was a kid, when I saw an article on him in National Geographic, I think it was.
This is brought up because I was just looking at a picture of a glasswing butterfly and thinking that it looked like a living Dale Chihuly sculpture.
I find it interesting sometimes to think about all the moments of beauty I've experienced in my life, and to know that those memories are still inside me, like little jewels in the mind that flash when the light hits them right.
