Caution: whining ahead

Last night I lost my voice, did something to my jaw that felt like I dislocated it (in TAKING A BITE OF BROCCOLI, you perverts), and made dinner ten times spicier than it needed to be (too much Thai green curry paste).

Today, I woke up an hour early because my clock somehow got set ahead an hour last night, started getting ready and was dressed before I realized that hour difference (just noticed I was extremely tired), and spilled soup on my shirt (it splattered when I opened the lid). Plus, I have to hear drilling and sink-fixing going on next to me while I work, instead of my iPod.

And I still have a cold. And I'm PMSing. And my jaw is still a little sore.

Can I just go home, please?

edit: I don't actually intend to or need to go home early unless the boss tells us we can, which he well might. I just needed to whine. I'm in a better mood now!

i'm sorry the workers are noisy. i know it's not my FAULT, but still, i'm sorry.

they almost ALWAYS are gone by 3pm, if that's any comfort.

Actually, they just left because they can't do anything unless they do something big first. And that may well have to wait until Monday morning.
