The only sad thing about going to this conference next month is that it means I'll miss the performance at the Athenian Corner. And I was going to be doing karsilima, too! Waah! :(

Guess I'll just have to do one in the recital.

Yesterday after work I hit Cardullo's for a chocolate fix. I found a new line of German chocolate bars with some HIGHLY unusual flavours. I even found one that combined two of the most wonderful and yet rarely-combined things in the world: CHOCOLATE and BACON. Yes. You heard me. It also had plums and coffee in it. I tried it, and was disappointed that I didn't taste ANY bacon. Just chocolate and plummy fruitiness. Oh well. Still fairly tasty.

So tonight is dance. Tomorrow is laundry. Thursday is a date with

pierceheart. And, with any luck, Friday is a date with

dahveed76. I'm looking forward to the dates.

I have daffodils on my desk. Well, daffodil buds: they haven't bloomed yet. I got them in a fundraiser here at work. Hopefully they will brighten up my desk soon. Flowers make everything nicer.

I'm finally ripping

pierceheart's music. Not all of it, mind you, but a lot. Mostly Irish and folk stuff. And of course the inimitable Pyrates Royale. LOVE them. Arrrrrr.

It occurs to me that I have not seen a lot of my friends in person since my birthday party. I miss you guys! I need to get together with all of you soon.
