Where'd this shit come from?
Apr. 4th, 2007 06:09 pmFuck this! I really need to do laundry--I am running out of underwear. The weather wasn't looking so hot, though, but coming home from work, Kendall Square was fine--just a few puddles. I thought, "Eh, not so bad, I can still do laundry tonight!" But my part of Somerville is a MESS. The ground is covered in several inches of slushy freezing water. And my galoshes broke weeks ago. And my sneakers got SOAKED on the seven minute walk from Davis to my house. There's no way I'm trundling a wire cart full of tons of laundry down to the laundromat tonight. Nope.
Well, looks like I'm in for the night, then. If I'd known how bad things would be in this neighborhood, I would have stopped at the grocery store and at least had food to bring home and cook for dinner. :(
Maybe I'll be bad and have Chinese and shake my fist at the weather. I'll give the delivery person a big tip if I decide on that.
Feck feck feck.
