1. Haircut at DHR today was great! Reasonably priced, nice people (VERY nice. Friendly, funny, and not condescending), and great results. W00t. I have found my salon.

2. Does anyone know where one could get Mexican chocolate tablets in this area?

1. Yay! Glad you liked them. I was concerned I'd overhyped them.

2. Supermarket has stuff like Abuelita--chocolate with a bit of cinnamon, meant to be melted into cocoa--that what you meant? Also, there's Hispanic markets, but oddly enough, we don't know the ones around here. You know...there is a Savenor's near Harvard Sq, but I've never gone.

I'd rather avoid Savenor's prices if I can. I don't know about Abuelita...is that sold in tablet form?

I don't know the exact address, but around the corner where I used to live in Allston there was a Spanish market that had it. It's sort of kitty-corner with the Jacskon-Mann school, across from the Tedeschi's.

I'd look at Stop and Shop first, though, in the "Latin" section. Look for "Abuelita" brand.
