So I saw a mention today of the "Tuatha de Dannon", which gave me a mental image of ancient Irish yogurt-makers that I had to share with dot_pagan_snark.

Now, I am craving yogurt big time. Plain yogurt, not the fruity stuff. And lamb. Mmmmmmmmm.

mention of the "Tuatha de Dannon" (which obviously is a mispell) was something that she reposted from someone on myspace which was a beautiful message to share. Whether the name is funny or not was NOT and shouldn't have been the main focal point of the story...this saddens me.

If you want, I can share the post with you too...then you can know the whole story!

As far as this goes, it's a joke. We are running with it. I'm a big fan of puns, and I don't think any less of the person who mis-spelled Dannan. ;D

Jeez, if I had a problem with anyone who spelled Irish words wrong, I'd be the top of the list of self-loathing!

I'm one of the squishiest people on .pagansnark, I think. But don't tell. ;)

Yeah, it was just funny that the way she misspelled it ended up being the name of a yogurt. I teased tryst_inn about the fact that she happened to mistype when she was talking about a lionhead rabbit. She called him a "loinhead", and it cracked me up. :) And that doesn't mean she's an idiot. It was just a really funny misspelling.
