I thought I was getting better, but yesterday evening I pretty much coughed continuously to the point of weakness and helplessness. Last night, in spite of the NyQuil Cough (dextromethorphan and antihistamine), I barely slept and kept coughing. Today, I say: fuck it. I'm going to MIT Medical and demanding a prescription for something that will stop me from coughing and make me sleep through the night so I can get better.

My abs feel like I spent all night doing crunches. Meh.

Hope they can help! I've had very good response from them in general. and if you ever have to stay overnight in infirmary, there's is quite nice, with good service. MUCH better than the hospital.

Cool. They gave me the GOOD drugs (cough suppressant with codeine), so I should sleep through the night tonight at least.

Good. You've been fighting this long enough. It's probably bronchitis by now, and no "take some more Robitussin" bullshit from some nurse is going to shake it loose. Feel better and may the broad-spetrum antibiotics be with you...

No, he says it's almost certainly just a cold. As I thought. Just a bad one. The fluid's not deep in my lungs and I have no fever.
