I finished Deathly Hallows today. There were many shouts of, "AHA! I knew it! I was right!" during the reading process. :)

I have to find someone to lend me their copy. I won't buy it in hardcover -- partly for the cost factor, mostly because I have the entire rest of the series in paperback (we Virgos are sometimes fanatical about having things match neatly).

I'm just so scared that someone is going to tell me the ending of the book before I get a chance to read it for myself.

Yeah. Same goes here. Made me pretty happy over all. I think it was wrapped up well. I'll keep this reply spoiler free, but I WILL ask... did you feel it dragged in parts... quite a lot more than other books. I felt that it had a strong beginning but then lost a lot of momentum until about halfway through.

There were certainly some times when I felt like they were taking too much time describing stuff where there wasn't anything happening plotwise, or character development-wise.

i agree. however, i don't care because i love them all so much i'm happy to read about them doing nothing.

yes, i'm not objective at the moment. i might be after some remove from it. i may never be, and that's perfectly ok by me.
