1. Who is your favorite author?

Just one? Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, J.R.R. Tolkein, and Anthony Burgess all figure very highly in my literary pantheon. But if I could only have one author's books for the rest of my life, I'd pick Tolkein, because I couldn't live without LOTR.

2. What did you always want to be when you grew up?

An archaeologist. Even now, if I won the lottery and never HAD to work again, I'd go back to school, get a degree in archaeology, and work in that field.

3. If there was one thing you could do, but have never been able to, what would it be and why?

Good question. I have to be capable of this, but it also has to be something I've never had the opportunity to do. Hmm. How about...take a longish trip to a foreign country or at least some very different-from-the-usual location with

pierceheart. I'd love to explore somewhere different and interesting with him, and share the experience of seeing new things and learning new things, as well as just having time with him that's active and interesting but doesn't involve any obligations other than just having a great time.

4. What do you want to be remembered for?

Making the lives of those I've known and loved a little brighter, and helping them to find joy in life. I'd also like to be remembered as intelligent, wise, competent, and gorgeous, but we'll see how that goes. :)

5. You're meeting the Queen of England. What are you wearing?

Probably a nice suit that fits me perfectly, maybe something from Eris Apparel, or something tailored for me. A neutral colour, with a pretty, colourful but not garish shell underneath.
