I think the person at Dunkin' Donuts gave me caffeine, even though I asked specifically for decaf. Fuck. Grrrrrrrrrr.

NOT a happy camper. I feel jittery.

She also tried to give me hazelnut, when I asked for toasted almond.

Could be the barrista's problem was she hadn't had her coffee yet?

(ducking!)

If that's the case, she should be ashamed! It's ALL AROUND HER! :)

I wouldn't be surprised to find they have a "no eating/drinkingn on the job" rule at Dunkies! I used to work in an office like that! Though my boss got to close her door and have a snack at her desk, we peons in the outer office weren't allowed to. We brought it up with HR and they sided with us. :-)

Dunkin' Donuts has indirectly improved my health - they're so incompetent at handling any order other than 'cream and sugar' or 'black' that the only way I could get them to make my coffee the way I like it was to start drinking it black. Asking for it with "a little milk, one sugar" never worked.

And I drink a lot of coffee, so cutting out the sugar is all to the good.

I'm mostly being facetious about Dunkin' Donuts' role, but ease of ordering and the constant gambling whenever I ordered anything else really was a good reinforcing factor.

I have had my fair share of botched orders everywhere.

I think some of it boils down to the fact that minimum wagers (people who earn well below the poverty line) aren't that motivated to provide the best food service possible, they also know if they lose that job they can easily get another one in food service.

Sure, go ahead. I don't usually friend people back until I've had some interaction with them, so I hope you won't be offended if I don't reciprocate right away.
