So...who are the top 5 male celebrities you'd like to see in a
kilt?

For me, and not in any particular order:
1. Russell Crowe
2. Ewan McGregor (again--he wore one in Shallow Grave and in a magazine spread!)
3. Hugh Jackman
4. Viggo Mortensen
5. Whoever it was that played Eomer in LOTR

The thing about kilt-boys is, for me, they have to have a
kind of rugged masculinity, and be less pretty-boy. Not
that I mind pretty boys, but I don't think guys like Johnny
Depp and James Marsters are as well-suited to a kilt.

He was adorable, wasn't he? And thank you, I finally realized who Thomas (the corset guy from Arisia) reminded me of.

I disagree about Marsters not looking good in a kilt...I could totally see it.

Well, I don't think he wouldn't look *good* in it. But he's not as well-suited as some other guys. Oh, I certainly would start drooling if I saw him in one. But I would prefer him all punked out in leather and spikes and safety pins. :)

We can't have both? Don't you remember Ewan MacGregor at the end of "A Life Less Ordinary"? Leather jacket, kilt, and boots...a little tweaking and he'd be punk. Or do they not go together in your mind?

guys, if you're willing to wear the kilt, i'll check you out more than once. major bonus points for kilt-wearing. hot, hot, HOT.

right now, i wouldn't mind if billy boyd dropped by in his kilt. *sigh* he's got the accent too. *SIGH*

Well, yeah, being Scottish helps. But I think Aussies and Kiwis are equally hot in them. :) Of course, Liam Neeson in a kilt was great too. Yum! And with all the rumours out there about that man, I'd be very interested in performing a kilt check. :D

I like Billy Boyd's voice a lot. Lovely tenor.
