Connecticut renfaire?

Hey all you New England rennie types:

The boy and I are going to a faire on Saturday. We're debating KRF vs. Connecticut. Which is better? The CT one is another hour's drive. Is it worth that? Also, I am in dire need of a bodice since bipaganfreak now has my old one. I need one that is well made, isn't too pricey, and I'd rather it not be super-fancy. At which of those renfaires am I more likely to find such a thing? (Please don't suggest to me that I order one online because I'll never get it in time for the faire this year, and I won't have one to wear there otherwise.)

I've got a bodice or two from when I was thin (size 10-12). If you cinch it all the way it could fit? I'll drag them out and give you a description. One is from Moresca: black and deep red herringbone stripes, lots of boning. The other has less boning, is two sided: green linen on one and rust colored velvet on the other, with little lapels on the waist (it was for a scottish highland dress, I've even got the plaid rust skirt to match) (yeh, I know that plaids not official, but I liked it).

I haven't been to CTRF, but people I know who go to both say they think CTRF is a little better for some things. Sorry I don't remember WHAT things exactly. Or maybe they just got burned out on KRF after too many years of the same old/same old.

My size 12 was way too big to provide any support, even cinched all the way. I got it when I was about 175 pounds or so, and I'm about 135ish now. Maybe a 10 would work, I could give it a shot.
