Nov. 2nd, 2007 11:41 amSamhain happened, and it was an interesting experience.
Yesterday, I pretty much wasted. Grr. I could have done SOMETHING useful.
Last night, dinner at Helmand and hot-tubbing with
pierceheart was lovely indeed. We needed a date. :)
Tonight I get to see
dahveed76.
I need to buy lunch today, but also wanted to hit Borders and pick up a book. I hope I can have time to do both. At least I know the exact book I want. Yeah, maybe sushi downtown and Borders will work. Mmm, sushi.
It kind of irks me that Dali in Somerville is a pain to get to from my place without a car. Apparently the easiest thing to do is to take the T to Harvard and walk 15 minutes. Not too terribly sucktastic, but considering the boy isn't even arriving until at least 8, it would take a while. I suppose we could get a cab if we went there. Cuchi Cuchi is easier, but pricier. And while the drinks have more appeal, the food has slightly less. Noir has a very very limited food menu. Sigh.
At least I have about 8 hours to decide where to go, though a reservation would be nice.

Date: 2007-11-02 04:21 pm (UTC)Dali lies right along the route 86 bus line. Schedule here (http://www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/bus/routes/?route=86&direction=O&timing=W&RedisplayTime=Redisplay+Time). Look at the "Massachusetts Ave & Johnson Gate" column for when it's at the Harvard T stop. (It's one of busses that stops near that traffic circle outside of Harvard Yard.) At that time of night it's running about every fifteen minutes.
Would that qualify as less painful?
