Friday night: potluck dinner with pierceheart and good friends

Saturday: pancakes for breakfast and a relaxing day

Saturday night: dinner out with pierceheart at Summer Shack and a movie on the couch after

Sunday: lots of cleaning!

Sunday night: hot tubbing and Cthulhu-in-a-hot-tub with zzbottom

Monday: errands and projects

Monday night: leftovers at home with pierceheart and watching Event Horizon. CREEPY movie.

Yeah, it was a lovely weekend and a productive one as well! Awesome. And we have a three-day week next week! Wow! Tonight, I have dance. I'm looking forward to it even if my hips feel a bit stiff.

To be honest, after all the "OMG you need Shadia!" comments I've gotten from people, I'm actually considering getting in touch with her for a custom-made costume. Apparently, they don't have to cost an arm and a leg. I actually prefer the black costume you posted to the red one, but I think I'd rather get a red costume this time around. It seems to be the colour everyone loves, and I confess I love it as well. Plus, if I can get something that fits without needing adjustments, that would be awesome.

My white costume is probably not going to work for me: the straps are non-adjustable and they're too long, while pulling them together in back makes it very hard to put on. The cups are a little too wide for me, and the whole bra is too stretchy for good fit and support. I can see why Michelle didn't want to keep it. I may try to sell it at some point. I also need to sell my beginner costumes. I might find out if Miriam has any student who could use them.

It's actually shabu-shabu, Japanese hot pot cooking. Basically, they give you raw meat and/or seafood and/or veggies, and you cook them yourself in a bubbling pot of broth. I like getting a seafood platter that has squid in it, and when I put the tentacles from the squid in for the first time, I said, "it's Cthulhu (http://www.mayhemltd.com/mythicimg/Cthulhu-large.jpg) in a hot tub!"
