Stuff on a Wednesday morning

First of all, a belated...

Happy birthday to bipaganfreak!

Second of all, healing and supportive energy has been sent where it is needed.

Third of all, why not five positives?

1. I have MANGO today! Yay for Boston Organics!
2. I actually stayed on plan yesterday as far as WW goes, for the first time in a very long time, and had yummy food.
3. I am listening to the Magnetic Fields 69 Love Songs at work.
4. Even though I forgot to bring the baby sweater I'm working on, I do have the needles I'll need to make the sleeves now.
5. My dance teacher wants me to dance in this People's Choice thingy. And at the Athenian Corner. It makes me feel good when she actively encourages me to perform. :)

Damn, I can't get away from people going on about the Magnetic Fields. This keeps up I'm going to have to bow to Fate and purchase some tracks.

I first heard them in a sex shop in Brookline (now defunct, alas), the first time I ever went there. I adored them as soon as I heard Stephin Merritt's voice. Then I saw that Neil Gaiman liked them, and I said, "That's it." I got the 69LS box for Christmas that year.

My last one went bad on me. It LOOKED fine, but when I cut it open, it was brown and icky. I was very disappointed. This time, I didn't take the chance, and cut it as soon as it seemed ripe.

I jsut saw my teacher posted that People's Choice thingie on her group bulletin! Oh, do it! (That is, if you want to.) I might go just to soak up all the different styles and get a better read on what I like, plus it's for a cause close to my heart.

Oy, seconded. Those would kinda put a damper on it, now, wouldn't they? Still, it's a psychic B-12 shot whenever a teacher tells you, "You should do this, you're good." If you get a burst of ambition and great shopping karma...

Not so much "shopping", unfortunately. I really need to order a custom job. I will do so, too. Very soon. Maybe once I've paid my rent and can see my bank account still being ok.
