badseed1980Well, I'm doing better than I could be, though not as well as I'd like. This cold is still hanging on after a week and a half. The flooding probably didn't help, what with the activity, cold exposure, and stress involved in that. It's had me feeling somewhat depressed. That said:
1. I had a great time Friday night with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dee_cee, leenah, roaming, lensman, and erik_j_meyer. We (well, the ladies) did crafty stuff like knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint, and we all watched some Doctor Who (9th Doctor). I am now hopelessly addicted. Went to bed far too late.
2. I felt surprisingly good for so little sleep while I was still sick, on Saturday. I put my computer back together, did some cleaning up, and then hung out withmeadmaker and his boy for a few hours. Lots of fun. We met pierceheart for dinner at Rudy's, and then we all went back to meadmaker's place to watch Torchwood. It's fun, and snogging between John Barrowman and James Marsters is a very hot thing, but I like Doctor Who better. We drank mead. Then we went home.
3. Sunday. What did I do Sunday? We went for breakfast at a place in Harvard Square. I hit the grocery store. We hung out. It was a lazy-ish day. I made an awesome seafood soup.
4. Yesterday we spent a little time looking at houses in the warm weather. It was nice to be outside. We also watched a whole bunch of Firefly. Another lazy-ish day. I needed that, especially considering how shitty I was feeling last night. Edit: Oh yeah, I also got my flowers yesterday, finally! Not the bouquet the boy ordered, but hey, at least they're flowers! And the company he went through will never use that crappy florist again. Blumen Haus in Cambridge. Shun them. Shhhhhuuuuunnnn.
I still feel pretty sick, but I just gulped some Dayquil, so hopefully I'll feel better soon. I just wish I could sleep for another few hours. Gotta work, though...

I have a Borders coupon for 30% off any one item, but I'm afraid that if they have it at the store, it'll be at the list price of $100 instead of the online price of $69. I can't use the coupon online. Meh. Considering I'm going to want the next two seasons as well, and probably Torchwood too, this could become an expensive habit.
