Costume issues, part 2

badseed1980Ok, so since it will be 4-6 bloody months until I can get a costume from Shadia, I think what I'm going to do is order a new choli and do a karsilama in the recital, since I don't think I can bring myself to wear the ill-fitting costume in this icon again. The cups are too wide, the bra is too big at the ribcage, and the belt is too big. Also, I'm sick of the fringe. *sigh*
At least I have a fabulous song all picked out (Hoplanda), and getting the new choli is necessary anyway if I'm going to do karsh in the Athenian Corner tag-team show.
Oh, and this time, I'm doing my own damn makeup. Not that the sparkle stuff from last year wasn't nice enough, but the person who applied it on me did not do a good job.
Maybe next year I'll do "Ahlam" in a gorgeous custom-made costume.
