Holy crap! Anyone remember how I mentioned Eris Apparel, which does clothing for busty-but-not-plus-sized chicks? I was thinking about ordering a suit and a top from them, but they really were on the pricey side. Well, guess what? They are having a HUGE SALE right now. HUGE. I ordered a suit in a size 6, whose jacket fits a 39.5" bust! I also ordered a dark red shirt with similar proportions. The order total, including priority mail shipping, was $92.49. NOT BAD for a nice business suit and a versatile shirt! Not bad at all. In fact, it's what I'd pay for ill-fitting suit separates at somewhere like JC Penney. I am so excited about this. *does excited dance*

Wow. It's a good thing that I 1) didn't buy something from them before now, and 2) happened to be curious today about whether they had anything new or not on their website.

That's awesome! I had a bad experience with professional fitting. I went to a Lady Grace, ferchristssake, and they couldn't manage to fit me properly. I have been really lucky with Lane Bryant bras, though. Now I need to find a bra to be the basis of my new dance costume, but not the convertible kind I've been getting.

I doubt I'll ever need a reduction. I'm comfy where I am. I may do one of those lifts after I've had kids and finished nursing them, though, so I won't be carting the girls around in a wheelbarrow when I get old.

Also, I think my thing is that my boobs were the same size when I was a 12-14 as they are now when I'm a 6. The boobs still need a 12, generally, to fit them. But when I was bigger, that same size fit me right all over. Now, it's too big elsewhere. If my boobs had been proportionally bigger when I was heavier, yeah, that would still have been a big pain in the ass!

Ye gods, I know the pain of not being able to find a damn thing in the stores, except on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm 5' and wear a 4 shoe! And I have that ghetto booty that makes all my pants tight in the front but huge in the back. Suck.

Heh. Ghetto booty. :) My pants problem is that I have a medium waist, fairly small hips (relatively speaking), and big thighs. Even if I lost the fat from my thighs, they'd still be on the big side, because I pack a lot of muscle there. Also, I get you on the 5' thing. I'm 5'3", but apparently, that is "petite". Normal pants are always too long for me. I fully expect I'll need to hem the ones I'm getting for this suit, since they have a 32" inseam. I think I'm about a 28". I recently tried on a pair of pants in a 6 regular and then in a 6 petite. The 6 regular were too big as well as being too long. The 6 petite were the right length, but so tight I could barely zip them. Same style of pants. WTF?
